If you are still unclear as to where to spray, use a screwdriver or even the key to make the door think it is closed even when it is open. Do this by pushing the key or whatever through the latch on the inside of the door near the handle.
Year, Model & Trim Level. 2000 Mounty. April 27, 2010. #4. Not that I am aware of. Try rotating the thumb wheel --near the light switch. All the way up is "dome lights on" while rotating it down should turn them off. ( might be the other way around-) It will also dim the cluster lights.
Received 1 Like on 1 Post. Spray the arm that go into the doors near the hinges with wd 40. Open & close door repeatedly and repeat again. Do each door a couple times. The switches are in there and get dirty. Also the truck has a battery saver. The LS is equipped with a "battery saver" system that will shut off lights after they have been on for about 30 minutes. This system is handy if you, for example, leave the trunk open (trunk light is on) for a while. After about half an hour, the battery saver system will turn that light off to, well, save the battery.
