1999-2004 factory tires. Tires are specified in the form “P235/65R17”. The first number is the width of the tire (section), the second number is the aspect ratio (profile), and the third number is the wheel diameter (rim size). “P” is for “Passenger”, “R” for “Radial”.

JK take-offs are good advice. That's what I've been running, but just upgraded to 5.5" springs from 4" and getting Cooper SST 33's tonight. 99 WJ 4.0 4" Teraflex springs, Iron Rock track bar, modified end links, homemade long arms and rear a-arm with cross members. My 2001 Grand Cherokee's stock tires are 225/75/r16. The current tires on it are 245/75/r16 - tires that are essentially bald, generic all terrains. I have decided to upgrade my tires to the Goodyear Wrangler Territory tire

I have heard several different opinions: 1) with a V8 the front will sag; 2) the tires will rub; 3) get rusty's offroad 2.5inch lift and it will fit fine.
