Here are my battery health results over the years: iPhone 7+ sold it after 1 year with 100% battery. iPhone 8+ sold it after 1 year with 100% battery iPhone Xr sold it after 6 months with 100% battery. iPhone XS Max sold it after 19 months with 99% battery. iPhone 12 Pro sold it after less than 1 year with 91% battery health. (THE ONLY PHONE I
The first week my iPhone 14 pro max battery has been God tier to say the least. I would easily get done a 10 hour work day with 70-75% left (on my s22, same length work day, Iād be at 46%) Anyway today I noticed that my battery drained like crazy. Started the day at 100% and got home at 40ā¦. A enormous drop off for my regular battery life.
10 hours ago Ā· I come from big phones, like s21 ultra and S23 plus because I watch a lot of YouTube and TV shows on my phone so the bigger screen is nice but you sacrifice one handed use. Whilst the smaller 6'1 inch phone can give you a comfortable compact feel and ease of use but you lose out on a bigger screen therefore content is much less appealing to
For us XS users, the 12/Pro/Max is an upgrade when it comes to battery life. It has more battery juice and a more efficient chip. I understand how the 12/Pro/Max might not be an upgrade for 11 users though as the 11 has a really good battery life.
With your older iPhone 8 Plus, you said it had better battery life. Now you must keep a few things in mind such as older versions of iOS not having the same features as iOS 14.x.x. Plus, you shouldāve went with the iPhone 12 Pro Max if battery life was your main concern. I have one, & battery life on this thing is insane to say the least.
The people saying itās the same phone as the 11 / 12 clearly havenāt used the 13 Pro / Pro Max yet. The 120hz is an absolute game changer. When I went back to look for something in my old phone (11 Pro Max) I couldnāt believe the lag and jittery scrolling compared to new one.
These posts saying the battery life is good are weird? i come from 11 pro max and I would have to WORK to kill the battery, using lots of camera etc. On this one, 13 pro begs for charger by the time its 17:00. I disabled so many background tasks, some location things, etc. The battery life is good, but not the WOW people are mentioning on twitter.
For me, the 11 pro max was more than fast enough, but the one big gripe I had about it was that using the camera would unpredictably kick other apps out of memory. With the extra RAM on the 13 pro max, that doesn't happen any more. I like the 120 Hz screen, and battery life is even better, and so.are the cameras, but that should all be expected.
On the other side, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is only $150 more and gives me 2GB more memory that I donāt use, the telephoto lens I only use occasionally. So the only killer thing would be the LiDAR sensor but that alone shouldnāt worth $150. In the end I may go to 12 Pro Max because it is the same size as the 8 Plus I used to.
