Hello All, 2004 X5 3.0 (E53) Auto Trans Background- Lots and lots of things were wrong with the car. I HAVE fixed almost everything. Be4 I began working on putting the car in good working order I had a parasitic battery drain. T he drain was not fast ie overnight but after 4 or 5 days it would either crank over very slowly or not start at all! Passenger Compartment Fuse Box. The fuses are located in the front passenger footwell on the underside of the instrument cluster. Unscrew screws, refer to arrows, of footwell trim panel. Lay the trim panel in the footwell. Unscrew the screw, arrow 1, and fold down the fuse carrier, arrow 2. Replace the fuse concerned.

Also, E46 and E83 blower motors will fit as well. The E83 blower motor is cheap from BMW, but I do not know if the cages are detachable. If I can smoke, then go do this in an hour and a half (first time replacing a blower for me, too), I figure most of us on here can do it in two hours or less without smoking or drinking beforehand/during the AC Regulator Repair / Blower Motor. 2015 BMW X5 35d with a blower motor / regulator replacement issue.
